Compassionate, Personalized Care Through Clinical Therapy
Lauren offers integrative clinical therapy services rooted in empathy, insight, and the unique lived experiences of the women and couples she works with. Her approach is not one-size-fits-all—it’s adaptive, human-centered, and informed by both clinical training and real-world understanding. As a clinical therapist, Lauren combines evidence-based tools, including cognitive-behavioral techniques and a feminist lens, helping clients examine how their personal history, identity, and social pressures influence their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.
Clients often seek support not just for a diagnosis or a specific challenge, but also for space: space to breathe, to think aloud without judgment, and to rediscover their values and goals with a sense of clarity and direction. Therapy with Lauren is an opportunity for women to feel seen and heard, where discomfort is met with curiosity, and healing and growth are empowering and sustainable.
Understanding Anxiety in Women
For many women, anxiety doesn’t always appear in obvious ways. It can look like perfectionism, irritability, people-pleasing, overfunctioning, or an inner critic that never quiets down. Anxiety in women is often shaped by expectations – what we’re told we should be doing, achieving, or feeling – and it can lead to a persistent sense of falling short. Lauren helps clients unearth the roots of that worry and build skills to move through it, rather than being consumed by it or trying to suppress it.
Her work addresses anxiety as it relates to women through both practical and reflective strategies. Whether it’s supporting a young professional facing burnout or relationship uncertainty, a new mom navigating identity shifts, or a woman in midlife overwhelmed by caregiving, career transitions, and/or hormonal changes, Lauren brings a compassionate, validating presence to the process. With her help, clients explore the deeper stories driving their stress and learn to reframe the beliefs that keep them stuck. In doing so, many find they’re not broken; they’re just carrying more than they ever realized, and with Lauren’s help, they can make change

Addressing Women and Anxiety
While many women experience anxious thoughts occasionally, others may struggle with symptoms that interfere more significantly with daily life. Panic attacks, insomnia, difficulty concentrating, or a racing heart can all be signs of an anxiety disorder, especially when they persist over time or feel impossible to manage alone. Lauren’s approach is to treat symptoms, not a diagnosis, to ensure women feel like they are not alone and can develop coping mechanisms when faced with stress. She provides a grounding presence for clients moving through challenges, helping them understand that their symptoms are not signs of weakness but signals that something deserves care and attention.
Therapy with Lauren is both compassionate and structured. She works collaboratively to identify triggers, manage overwhelming emotions, and develop tools to prevent spiraling. And just as importantly, Lauren validates the context in which anxiety develops. She recognizes the societal, relational, and sometimes generational patterns that shape how womanhood and mental health intersect, and she empowers clients to rewrite those patterns in ways that align with their individual truth, not someone else’s narrative.

Rebuilding Self-Worth and Identity
One of the most common and painful undercurrents Lauren sees in her practice is a lack of self-worth. Many clients don’t immediately come in asking to work on self-esteem; rather, they arrive naming burnout, anxiety, or disconnection. But beneath those experiences are often quiet but powerful beliefs like, “I’m not doing enough” Therapy becomes the space to explore and challenge these stories.
Through her thoughtful and compassionate work, Lauren helps identify the signs of low self-esteem, which might include difficulty setting boundaries, chronic self-doubt, fear of failure, or staying in unfulfilling relationships out of fear of being alone. With warmth and patience, she walks alongside her clients as they uncover the roots of these patterns and build a new foundation of self-belief. Clients are reminded that they are not too much, too sensitive, or too broken — they are human, and it’s okay to need support, especially during moments of struggle. From that truth, real healing can begin.
Why Clinical Therapy Matters for Women
The decision to seek therapy is an act of courage. It’s a recognition that something within you is asking for attention — and that you are worthy of support. As a clinical therapist, Lauren doesn’t just offer tools or diagnoses. She offers presence and encouragement. She helps her clients navigate life transitions, heal from invisible wounds, and learn how to trust themselves.
Mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem don’t have to define your path. They can be understood, navigated, and even transformed, with the right support. Therapy with Lauren is more than a treatment; it’s an invitation to reconnect with yourself, to heal what’s been hidden, and to build a life that feels aligned and fulfilling.
A Safe Space to Heal and Grow
Lauren believes that every woman deserves to feel empowered, heard, and whole. Whether you’re wrestling with anxiety, questioning your goals after experiencing an identity shift, or simply trying to cope with everyday pressures, therapy can be a transformative step. Through an intentional and supportive process, Lauren walks with her clients through confusion and fear into clarity and confidence. She knows that womanhood and mental wellbeing are deeply intertwined with the roles, expectations, and emotional labor that many of us carry, and she offers therapy that truly honors the complexity of that experience.
If you’re ready to explore therapy with someone who gets it, Lauren is here to meet you where you are. With compassion, expertise, and respect for your story, she offers a space to grow – at your pace, in your way.
