Women’s Reproductive Health & Stories Event Announcement

Join @jackiefriedland, @thecounselaur, and Emily Gold Waldman at the @scarsdalelibrary on September 28th for: Women’s Reproductive Health (A Panel Discussion)! Join us for a meaningful conversation on reproductive rights, women’s health, and the power of storytelling. In celebration of three local authors—Lauren Tetenbaum (Millennial Menopause: Preparing for Perimenopause, Menopause, and Life’s Next Period), Emily Gold Waldman (Hot Flash: How the Law Ignores Menopause and What We Can Do About It), and Jacqueline Friedland (Counting Backwards: A Novel)—this panel will explore the intersection of law, health, and personal freedom, with a special focus on the challenges facing women across the reproductive lifespan. Moderated by local Scarsdale lawyer @alexis_cirel, a leading fertility law expert and advocate for gestational surrogacy in New York, the discussion will touch on legal barriers, bodily autonomy, mental health, community, and access to healthcare from family planning through menopause.
